Tillett T5
The T5 shape in sizes C cd, CL and XS cd is the most common seat shape used by mini kart drivers in the 8 to 12 age group.
The T5 has a small flattening, but it is deliberately not made with the T11 angle. Children in this age group need a more upright posture for more strength and control.
The molding technique used to create this seat has enabled Tillett to create a smooth front and back with an even thickness of laminate. The T5 benefits from a specially developed high-strength resin and contains a much higher fiber content than hand-laminated seats, making the seat more resilient to holes and bumps on the track.
The VTI and VG rigidities available for the T5 are those used in modern mini-kart chassis types.
Seat sizes with the addition "cd" > cut down low back have a 3cm shortened back section.
