The IAME Reedster V is the 2nd generation of engines according to the CIK regulation class: OK
In the past homologation period, IAME was able to convince in the OK class with the most titles in national and international comparison.
With 50 years of experience in karting engine building, IAME is rightly "THE HEART OF KART".
The OK class (original karting) cuts the engines in many add-on parts that have been incorporated in the engine construction in the course of various developments.
The engine is therefore operated without a clutch, without onboard starter, in accordance with the provisions of the CIK regulations.
The motor is cooled by an externally driven water pump. The carburetor is a butterfly carburetor with 24mm Venturi.
Included in delivery are:
- complete ignition PVL digital (rev limiter: 16.000 u/min)
- exhaust complete with CIK-Ok Homologation
- engine mount
- spark plug NGK BR 10 EG
- vacuum petrol pump + support plate
- engine sprocket Z 12
